used to是什么意思

used to是过去经常的意思。

used to表示过去的习惯性动作，过去如此，现在不再这样了。常译作过去常常。后面常常接动词原形。

如：He used to play basketball when he was young他年轻的时候常常打篮球。

There used to be an apple tree here过去这儿曾经有棵苹果树。

be used to后面可以接do，也可以接doing名词

be used to do表示被用来做某事。

如：Wood is often used to make desks and chairs木头常常被用来制作桌椅。

be used to doing /n表示习惯于某一客观事实或状态，不强调动作，to是介词，后面接名词或动名词。

如：She is not used to eating Chinese food.她不习惯吃中餐。

使用情况

used to一般用于描述过去一直持续做某事，然而现在不做了。而be used to则表示习惯于做某事（坚持不懈哦）。

used to+动词不定式。如：I used to go to bed late,but now I don't.我过去上床很晚，现在不这样了。

be used to+doing或者be used to be sth。如：I am used to playing basketball我习惯打篮球。
